It is predicted that by the year 2050, 1 in 2 people in the UK will be given a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lifetime. This is both a sobering statistic and a call to action!

We need to consider greatly how best to live our lives (to give ourselves the best opportunity for prevention and successful treatment) and how best to care for ourselves and others if and when we face this challenge. This is the focus of Cancer Coaching.

These are some of the areas we might explore together:

❯   How to see beyond the Cancer diagnosis / label

❯   How to manage physical symptoms

❯   How to deal with practical concerns / challenges

❯   How best to get your needs met within the relationships that matter most

❯   How to return to “normality” when life feels anything but normal

❯   How to regain control and start to plan once again for the future

❯   How to choose the way you want to live and die

❯   How to live your best life!

Life after cancer treatment can be more complicated than anticipated. For example, you may:

❯   Feel under pressure to be upbeat and positive

❯   Feel abandoned without your regular doctor’s appointments

❯   Be grieving for the body you have lost

❯   Be filled with fear every time you feel a twinge

What My Clients Say

The most amazing thing I learned was how powerful listening to my body is and how my life has changed by taking the time to listen and respond. Everyone should learn to do this at school!
I have learnt so much about myself and my body and I now have all the tools to continue to help myself going forward. You have certainly been an amazing person to work with and you somehow know the right questions to ask me - thank you!
I feel you have given me so many tools to use and different perspective on how I look at situations. It has been refreshing to be able to talk openly and honestly without judgement. Thank you!

Cancer coaching is for anyone living with a Cancer diagnosis, including partners and carers. Coaching sessions typically last one hour. Call me to discuss how I can best support you on your journey.
